In Style Look of the Day
You can literally steal LC's look for less because another designer has made the same dress!

What she wore: Rebecca Minkoff
What you will wear: Motel Rocks and Loris Shoes

ps. note that she kept her accessories to a minimum, I suggest doing the same. If you all ready have a favorite gold necklace then stick with that but, if not, I love these by Kate Spade. Also need help accomplishing those beachy waves? I did too- head over to Sydney's Day Book for her vlog (video blog) tutorial on her great wavy hair.

Give your LBD the night off with this on the town ensemble.
(All pieces can be substituted with things from your closet, just remember to stick to only three colors and keep one piece neutral).

I love Emma's oversized bow and color blocking, it is so chic. However, for those of us not hitting the red carpet (or in her case the black carpet) this BCBG skirt has the same chic look but is toned down enough for a night out in a town where people do not know who BCBG is. Remember those nude heels I keep telling you to buy? Well, here they are again! And this red cashmere sweater can be worn in this outfit and again and again this fall (ps. i would substitute a red tank for this sweater until it gets a little cooler out!)

Eva’s beautiful Victoria Beckham shift dress is around $1600. So, if your like me, and don’t have an extra couple thousand dollars laying around to spend then head over to Asos for this shift in the same color and these nude satin shoes that mimic Eva’s to a tee.

How to do Black for the Summer
Summer is traditionally a time to break out color and patterns and ditch the darker hues. However, the Wall Street Journal style section is suggesting something a little outside of the box for this season: black as the new summer color. While I am in full support of colors for summer, it is important to note that black looks great with a tan, goes with everything and is effortlessly chic. So why not add a little black to your wardrobe this summer?
Below are the Wall Street Journal's suggestions for how to do black, however, for those of you (which includes myself) that do not have between $600 and $1200 to spend on a LBD I have compiled some great alternatives.

My Suggestions...
(ps. they are all under $100)

Finish off your look with a great pair of flats and some neon nails....
