**New Years Eve Style Book**

New Years Eve is almost here, haven't picked out that perfect frock yet? Not to worry- here are J+M's outfit do's and don'ts for ringing in 2011. Remember this is the only day of the year when you can NEVER have too many sequins so live it up
ladies.
ps. all outfits are at or under $100 so get shopping.

Remember most great outfits consist of 3 colors & while this may not be true for everything you ever wear, abiding by this rule on a regular basis will make dressing a whole lot easier.

There are a few different avenues you can take when picking out your New Years Eve outfit, these include: dress, skinny pants and blazer or top and skirt. You can go dangerously chic or live up the sequins and be playful. Below you will find combinations for all of these- remember never underestimate what you already have in your closet- you bought it for a reason, so don't be afraid to use it!

1.
From Motel Rocks (my new favorite, a great store from the UK) pair with your favorite pair of black heels, a simple black clutch and great earrings or a cocktail ring. The dress speaks for itself so don't overwhelm it. Because it has a low back consider wearing your hair in a vamped ponytail- nothing is sexier!

2.
This dress, from American Apparel, is the perfect canvas for you to play up some great shoes or boots and to layer on the jewels. I suggest black or grey suede boots or a great pair of pumps from your closet. Since the dress is so simple don't be afraid to try a color or a pattern on the shoe, but remember to coordinate with your jewelry. This same look could also be accomplished with your favorite LBD- check out J. Crew factory store online to find great priced jewelry! Pair with a boyfriend blazer or a peacoat for the cold weather.

3.
Just like the first dress this dress speaks for itself- so let it shine, throw on a pair of pumps, grab a clutch and go! It is from Asos.com- check this site frequently they have great clothes and great deals.

4.+++

A great pair of leggings will get you far and are a great investment piece for your wardrobe. These Danskin Supplex leggings are thick and built as compression leggings to hold you in a flatter in all the right places, Vera Wang swears by them and they are a staple of her wardrobe. Beware: Not all leggings should be worn as pants! Some are too thin and will be super unflattering even on the thinest of girls. Pair them with a tunic top, booties and a boyfriend blazer or faux fur vest to complete the look.

5.
Don't want to spend a dime on your NYE outfit? Grab a tunic or great shirt from your closet and throw it on tucked into a great pencil skirt. It does not need to be black- have fun with your look- throw on some chunky bangles, opaque tights and heels or booties. Don't own a pencil skirt? This one from Forever 21 is only $13.80.
